In L.A. we have begun our novel study (Among the Hidden). We are learning how to write proper sentences (including capitals and punctuation), and we are improving on our listening skills in order to follow directions. In Math, we are reviewing long multiplication and division as so many seem to have forgotten the steps from last year, then we will move on to 'number sense' and patterning. In Science we have spent two weeks learning how to write a science lab using the scientific method and now we will learn some basics about Electricity before doing some experiments. In HACE we will continue to explore some facts about tobacco use and what harm smoking does to the body. In P.E. we are still doing cooperative games before we start our volleyball unit.
