In HACE we finished Internet Safety and have moved on to Nutrition. In L.A. we are working on finishing up our novel study, increasing our grammatical knowledge and creating one minute speeches on one of the Olympic athletes on the Canadian Olympic Team. For Science we have just finished up Electricity and, after the Christmas break, we will be starting on Extreme Environments. In Math we have just finished integers and are now working on Factors and Multiples (prime and composite). For Fine Arts it is all about Christmas now. This is our last week for P.E. as the gym is closed next week until January.
There is a lantern parade taking place downtown this Thursday. The kids can all go and make their own lanterns at a workshop (takes place from 3-6) and then the parade follows. The whole thing is free for the whole family. Anyone is welcome. All the students have the details on their gedu (google education) account. Sounds like fun!
Don't forget that Monday is a Professional Development Day. No school for kids. Teachers are at a workshop.
