In L.A., we have yet to start our novel study (hurry up and finish with it Mrs. Erichuk!) but rumour has it that we will have it in our hands very soon. In the meantime we have been focusing on writing, speaking and listening (learning debates), and learning another reading strategy. In HACE we have been doing some simple first aid (all students will bring home a first aid book that we have done a few lessons from) and next we will be looking at substance abuse/misuse. In Math, we are looking at geometry (specifically using protractors to create and measure angles) and will then look at the angles in polygons. In P.E. we are in our last two weeks of badminton before we start our track and field rotations (yep.....track and field already). In Fine Arts we will, of course, carry on with some Easter art projects but we will also be doing some 'music work'. Marsville carries on with projects that are starting to come together. Each group is also required to do a poster board so they have been working hard. We will wrap up Marsville with a trip to the Henry Grube on April 29.
