In Math we are working with decimals (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing) and in HACE we are still looking at nutrition. For L.A. we are carrying on with our novel study and in Science we are studying 'extreme environments'. We have been doing different skills and drills in basketball (as well as some alternate activities for our third gym period in the week). Mrs. Erichuk is working with the class in Social Studies looking at alternative governments and countries.
Shortly we will be starting a group project called 'Marsville' which involves both grade 6 classes working together to create systems that could be working on Mars. This will culminate in a trip to the Henry Grube centre to meet up with other schools and present our projects within a dome that the groups create on site. Should be really interesting!
