If you have been following our dance extravaganza in P.E., you will know that we are almost all the way through the 'Thriller' dance (yep, the real one choreographed for Michael Jackson). In addition, we have been so fortunate to have a guest presenter in that has been teaching us all sorts of latin dance. We will be ending our dance unit at the end of October and moving on to volleyball skills for November (up until the gym is closed for the Christmas concert). In L.A. we have been making our way through our novel 'Sammy Keyes and the Skeleton Man' and doing lots of different activities to go along with it. For Math, we have finished looking at patterning with tables and are now working with place value to the billions. Since we went on the Salmon Run on Friday (and what a glorious day it was too) we have put the 'salmon' topic behind us in Science and will be moving on to the new topic of Electricity. In HACE (health and career education) we are setting goals (long term and short term) and ways to meet those goals.
Don't forget to make sure that your immunization records are in. The day for the shots is a week from this Monday (Oct. 25) and the health nurse has been collecting the forms.
